Rachel began practicing yoga at her dance studio in New Jersey in 2008 to supplement her figure skating training and continued to practice to recover from a career ending spinal injury. The deeper she dove into her practice and self study, she began to realize the tools this practice was teaching her to prepare for, cope with, and fully live her every day life. Rachel studied her 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training with Erica Stanzione in 2018 to deepen her personal practice, but soon found herself called to share her passion for this practice. Her philosophy is that movement is medicine and yoga meets us all exactly where we are – at the exact time we need it to.
Rachel’s classes focus on strengthening and stretching the body as well as the mind to find, nurture and embrace the power we all have inside of us.
