PORTSMOUTH: Yoga for Happy Hips

Come spend some time learning about your hips!
We’ll talk about how yoga is good for you hips, what exactly your hips are doing in different poses, and why you should care about any of this.
All too often yoga focuses so much on hip openers that we miss out on strengthening them which can lead to instability in these joints that literally hold us as we go through our days. If you’ve ever felt like your hips are tight or wondered what exactly your hips are “supposed” to be doing in Warrior One (or Two for that matter) you’ll leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of your body & your practice. This two hour workshop will include discussion or how the hip joint works, answer any questions you might have, and then some movement to put what we talked about into practice.
Class is Sunday, April 22 from 1-3 at the Portsmouth studio, cost is just $20 for repeat Happy learners or autobill members, $25 otherwise!
