King Dancer’s Pose and the Teachings of the 5 Acts of Shiva

Saturday, May 19 @ 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Shiva as King Dancer is one of Yoga’s most popular deities, however the teaching of his five actions (Pancakrtya) is not so widespread. In this workshop with Roberto Lim, a guest teacher from the Boston area, you will learn about the five actions of Shiva and its origins within Tantric yoga. Following a lecture and discussion, you will apply these teachings through a Prana Vinyasa yoga practice focused on King Dancer’s pose (Natarajasana) which is an energizing, backbend pose. All levels are welcome to attend this workshop which includes asana, pranayama, mantra, and meditation.
